After 2 years and 4 months Preston is excited to announce that he finally got his braces off! I hope we get to see him smile a little more often now. He is excited to eat some of his favorite things he hasn’t been able to eat. Corn nuts is top on that list along with caramel and raspberries! While he had braces on he ate a lot of stuff he shouldn’t like popcorn and hard candies. I would catch him putting a hard candy in his mouth and he would always tell me “I’m just going to suck on it”. He is getting used to the slimy feeling of having the braces off. He hasn’t told any of his friends. He wants to see how many notice. Once he told me a friend of his got their braces off and he didn’t notice for three days until the friend pointed it out to him.
