I hope everyone else had a great 4th like we did.\u00a0 It ended up being a pretty busy day.\u00a0 Corey was gone before I even had a chance to wake up.\u00a0 Every year the city puts on a 5k fun run that runs the parade route.\u00a0 This is Corey’s second year of doing traffic control for that event.\u00a0 He was gone by 6:30 am.\u00a0 He made it back just in time for us to head out and see the parade.\u00a0 We had a great time at the parade.\u00a0 Sophia looked so cute dressed all patriotic.\u00a0 After the parade we went home and packed up a lunch and headed out to meet some friends at Gem Lake.\u00a0 The kids loved eating and swimming with their friends.\u00a0 We spent a good 2 hours there.\u00a0\u00a0 When we got home we finally had some time to relax.\u00a0 The kids and I watched a movie while dad took a nap.\u00a0 After dinner it was time to head out to the firework show.\u00a0 Idaho falls has a pretty big show.\u00a0 It’s actually the biggest firework show I have ever seen.\u00a0 They light them off at the greenbelt and since we don’t live too far from there we only have to go a couple of blocks to get a great view of the fireworks.\u00a0 By the time we got home it was around 11:00 pm and the kids were beat.\u00a0 We had such a wonderful day and I feel such a great gratitude for all the men and women in the world who have made it possible for us to have the freedom that we do.<\/p>\n
