{"id":414,"date":"2011-03-02T21:22:02","date_gmt":"2011-03-03T04:22:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/karin.zmonkey.org\/?p=414"},"modified":"2011-03-02T21:22:02","modified_gmt":"2011-03-03T04:22:02","slug":"sunday-dinner","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/karin.zmonkey.org\/?p=414","title":{"rendered":"Sunday Dinner"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_415\" style=\"width: 248px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"http:\/\/karin.zmonkey.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/DSCF0208.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-415\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-415\" title=\"Sunday Dinner\" src=\"http:\/\/karin.zmonkey.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/DSCF0208-300x224.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"238\" height=\"178\" srcset=\"https:\/\/karin.zmonkey.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/DSCF0208-300x224.jpg 300w, https:\/\/karin.zmonkey.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/DSCF0208-1024x768.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 238px) 100vw, 238px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-415\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Swiss Steak, Herbed potatoes, Garden salad<\/p><\/div>\n<p>For dinner on Sunday I made Swiss steak.\u00a0 For the sides I used the Butter Gold Potatoes, lettuce, and tomatoes from the basket.\u00a0 I tried something new with the potatoes.\u00a0 Most of the time when we buy potatoes its the big russets that you get locally.\u00a0 I thought that with these small potatoes I could make herbed potatoes.\u00a0 I washed and boiled the potatoes until they were tender.\u00a0 Then I sliced them in half and tossed them in a teaspoon of olive oil and a teaspoon of butter.\u00a0 I sprinkled them with garlic powder, basil, parsley, green onions, and salt and pepper.\u00a0 My husband and I thought that this was the best thing we had at dinner.\u00a0 The kids however weren&#8217;t sure about all the herbs on the outside of the potatoes.\u00a0 The kids liked the salad the best.\u00a0 I made the salad with the lettuce and tomatoes from the basket.\u00a0 I also added cauliflower, carrots, celery, and red pepper that I had already had in the fridge. \u00a0 The potatoes are high in vitamin C and a good source of Potassium.\u00a0 Potassium helps regulate blood pressure.\u00a0 The Lettuce is high in Vitamin A, and a good source of Folate.\u00a0 The Tomatoes are also high in Vitamins A &amp;
