Well summer is here upon us again.\u00a0 Time for me to get started on some more books.\u00a0 I got started a little early this year and have already read a load of books.\u00a0 So much so I’m not even sure that I can remember all of them.\u00a0 I’m starting to get a little book burned out.\u00a0 Here are a few of the books I have read already and hope that you might be able to start reading too.\u00a0 I notice that when I do read that my brain works a little better and doesn’t feel so muttled all the time.\u00a0 I usually remember things better too.\u00a0 Now I’m always looking for a really good read so if you have any suggestions I’m up for it.\u00a0 There are a few things I don’t like in a book.\u00a0 I don’t like a book that is going to make me cry my eyes out.\u00a0 I also don’t like books that have too much foul language in it.\u00a0 So if you know of any let me know.<\/p>\n

\"the-dragon-of-trelain\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The dragon of Trelain by Michelle Knudsen is the latest book that I have read. The main characters are a young boy and girl about 14. One is a princess the other a mages apprentice. It’s a good story but not my favorite it is similar to other stories I’ve read. It also looks like it will have a book 2. Which means I’ll probably have to wait another year before I can continue the story.\u00a0 By then I might have lost interest.<\/p>\n

\"farwalkers-quest\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The Farwalker’s Quest by Joni Sensel is another book I’ve read.\u00a0 I really liked this book.\u00a0 It’s a little different then I’ve read before.\u00a0 No dragons or anything like that.\u00a0 It’s a story based on the belief that everyone had some kind of gift.\u00a0 Some are able to talk to trees others have a gift of healing.\u00a0 There are many gifts and this is a journey to discover the gifts of two 13 year olds.\u00a0 It takes them on quite an adventure.\u00a0 I’m trying not to say much so I don’t give any of it a way.\u00a0 Over all I really did enjoy reading this book.<\/p>\n

\"13th-reality-2\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The 13th Reality: the Hunt for Dark Infinity by James Dashner.\u00a0 This is the second book in this series.\u00a0 The first book was the first book that I blogged about.\u00a0 I really like the first book.\u00a0 The second I didn’t like as much but still a good read.\u00a0 It’s been a year since I read the first and so I had forgotten a lot of characters and events that happened.\u00a0 So if you have read the first book already then you should review before reading this one.\u00a0 I think it will go a lot smoother if you do.<\/p>\n

\"the-singing\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The Singing by Allison Croggon.\u00a0 This is the last book of 4.\u00a0 I read the other 3 books last summer.\u00a0 I really got into this series.\u00a0 It is kind of like the Lord of the Rings series.\u00a0 I didn’t like having to wait so long for this last book to come out but it was well worth it.\u00a0 I hadn’t forgotten much anyways and she did a good job of reviewing with it in the book.\u00a0 If you haven’t already I recommend reading this series.<\/p>\n

I think I have included enough pictures so now I’ll just finish with some other books I’ve read.\u00a0 Fablehaven: the Secrets of the Dragon Sanctuary by Brandon Mull.\u00a0 I love this series and I read the other ones last summer.\u00a0 There is still yet another but last book to come out next year but I can’t wait for it.\u00a0 This is a good series to add to your personal library.<\/p>\n

Starclimber by Kenneth Oppel.\u00a0 This is the 3rd and final book in this series.\u00a0 I really liked this series too.\u00a0 I think it will be a good one for my boys to read when they are teens.\u00a0 It’s full of adventure and flying machines.<\/p>\n

I also read Artemis Fowl Series by Eoin Colfer.\u00a0 Its 6 books!\u00a0 I know I can’t believe I had that much time to read too.\u00a0 This series is really not my favorite.\u00a0 I was pretty much reading them while waiting for other books to come availiable at the library. It wasn’t a total waste on a scale from 1 to 5 it would rank a 3.\u00a0 It was really hard to get into the books but once you got past the first 100 pages things got more exciting.\u00a0 So if your looking for a series to fill up some time this would be a good one.<\/p>\n

Now I’m waiting and have been waiting for months for the new series of Vampire books (first one is called Marked) by P. C. Cast and Kristin Cast.\u00a0 I don’t know if I’ll like it but I’ll let you know.\u00a0 But I think I might need a break from fantasy for a while.\u00a0 Let me know if you have any suggestions.<\/p>\n
