<\/a>Getting ready for cake<\/p><\/div>\n
I can’t believe that my little Preston is now 10!\u00a0 His birthday was April 23rd.\u00a0 I’m just so slow on getting things posted.\u00a0 I have so many things I want to blog about but can’t seem to get them on here fast enough.\u00a0 This year he wanted to go bowling.\u00a0 The Saturday before his birthday we had a bowling party for him.\u00a0 This was one of the easiest parties I’ve done so far.\u00a0 He invited 5 friends and we had a blast.\u00a0 Preston wanted a Tardis birthday cake.\u00a0 You may ask “what is a Tardis?”\u00a0 If you’re a fan of Doctor Who you’ll know what we are referring to.\u00a0 Otherwise it’s a time travelling machine.\u00a0 So Corey made the cake.\u00a0 I was actually surprised how many kids that he invited knew what a Tardis was.\u00a0 Along with cake the kids loved bowling.\u00a0 To make it more interesting they had to draw out of a hat and do what the paper said.\u00a0 For example bowl blindfolded. bowl laying down, do a silly dance, or bowl backwards.\u00a0 For Preston’s actual birthday we opened presents from family.\u00a0 This was a really special birthday for Preston because his grandma Tiffany was able to be here for it.\u00a0 We don’t get to see grandma very often so he was so excited to have her join us.\u00a0 I love Preston he is such a sweet and silly boy.\u00a0 I was watching him walk away and go to class the other day and for a small moment I was able to picture him as that small 2 year old that was my little buddy.\u00a0 It’s tough for me to believe that he is growing.\u00a0\u00a0 He is still my buddy just not little anymore. He is always there to try and cheer me up when I’m sad or help out when I need it.\u00a0 I think the Lord really knew exactly what I needed when he sent this blessing to me.\u00a0 I’m so grateful for him and I’m excited to see where the future takes him.\u00a0 Now, If only I had a Tardis.<\/p>\n
